Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scott Lilke!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brandon Heat!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilke thuds his right hand into Heat's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lilke throws a head kick that Heat semi-blocks.
Lilke tries to clinch but Heat moves away
and Heat counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Lilke fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Heat moves away from the strike by Lilke.
Heat throws a leg kick that misses.
Lilke tries to clinch there but Heat circles away.
Lilke lands with a straight right. Heat didn't see that one coming.
Heat showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lilke.
Lilke scores with a sloppy right hand. Heat should have avoided that one.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Heat lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lilke has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lilke and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lilke enables Heat to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lilke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heat wants to control from the top but Lilke keeps moving.
Lilke wants to stand but Heat is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heat trying to control but Lilke is working from the bottom.
Heat working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Heat tries to free his leg and advance position but Lilke is retaining full guard.
Heat trying to control the position from guard on top but Lilke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lilke is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lilke is looking to stand up but Heat isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Heat swings for the body but Lilke moves out of range.
Lilke thows a body shot but no joy.
A big left from Lilke misses.
Lilke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Heat sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lilke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Heat.
Heat moves forwards but Lilke connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Scott Lilke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lilke checks the leg kick nicely there.
Heat looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lilke tests Heat's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Heat throws a low kick, looking for Lilke's leg but Lilke calmly moves out of range.
Lilke throws a series of punches but Heat avoids them all with ease.
Lilke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Some wild striking there from Lilke.
Lilke misses with a double jab.
Heat shoots in for a takedown but Lilke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lilke lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Heat slips a jab and a cross from Lilke.
Lilke is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Lilke stuffs the takedown.
Heat throws a head kick that misses
and Lilke counters with a left and a right that stings Heat.
Lilke throws a right hand that Heat ducks under and follows up with a left that Heat also avoids with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Heat swats away the attempt to clinch by Lilke.
Heat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lilke avoids it really well and circles away.
Scott Lilke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Heat.
Heat displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lilke throws out the jab.
Lilke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Heat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lilke swings for the body but Heat moves out of range.
Heat has a takedown stuffed.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Heat shoots for a double leg takedown but Lilke sprawls well. He's pushed Heat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lilke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Heat. Heat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Lilke dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Heat misses with a low kick.
Lilke throws a right and a left that Heat avoids nicely.
Heat has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Heat dodges the punch combination from Lilke.
Lilke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heat's head.


Heat is rocked!
Heat throws a leg kick
and Lilke counters with a crisp right that sends Heat to the canvas! Lilke follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Lilke!
Scott Lilke retains his light heavyweight title!
