Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Bled (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Valchek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vadim Bled! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Valchek! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bled blocks the body kick.
Valchek throws a head kick but Bled moves out of range.
Bled feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bled wants to pass the guard but Valchek is keeping the position. Bled trying to control but Valchek is working from the bottom. Bled stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valchek swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bled won't allow Valchek to sweep him here. Bled trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Valchek thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valchek lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bled at a distance.
Valchek throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Valchek misses the shot to the body. Joe Valchek is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bled shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Valchek pinned against the cage. Valchek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Valchek throws a hook but Bled avoids it easily. Bled drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Valchek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bled is working to get back to half guard.
Valchek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. A nice elbow there by Valchek. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bled is trying to escape the mount.
Bled wants to hold on but Valchek pushes him away. Valchek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bled is in all sorts of trouble here.

Bled is breathing heavily. Valchek controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bled taking shots to the head. Valchek controlling the pace for now.
Despite being in the dominant position, Joe Valchek just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Valchek throws a jab when Bled was well out of range. Valchek throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bled looks for a takedown but Valchek sprawls well. Valchek looks to land a combination but Bled avoids it well. Valchek is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bled rather than just go for the knockout. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Valchek. Bled tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Valchek swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vadim Bled. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bled moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Valchek dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Valchek looks to land a body kick but Bled moved away. Valchek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Valchek throws a nice looking combination but Bled bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Valchek is looking to land body kicks. Valchek tries a head kick but it misses.
Bled shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Valchek throws a head kick that half lands.
Valchek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bled manages to avoid it. Bled closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bled is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Valchek seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Valchek is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Valchek keeping moving, preventing Bled from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valchek has Bled pulled in close to control his posture. Bledis looking to pass into half guard but Valchek pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Valchek is in guard. Valchek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bled working for a triangle but Valchek defends it easily.
Valchek slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bled keeping moving, preventing Valchek from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bled working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Valchek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Valchek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Valchek stopping the sweep attempt from Bled. Valchek forces his way into half guard. Valchek slows the pace down in half guard. Bled tries to roll over but Valchek keeps him under control. Valchek controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bled looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bled wants to get back to full guard. Bled is working hard here to advance position. Bled is looking to control Valchek's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bled avoid being mounted? Valchek is trying to control the action in half guard but Bled is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Joe Valchek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Horrible takedown by Bled or perhaps it was just good defense by Valchek which made him look bad. Bled shoots for a takedown but Valchek saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bled showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Valchek.

Bled has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Valchek finds it's way round the side to connect with Bled's head. Valchek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bled trying to control but Valchek is working from the bottom. Bled stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valchek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bled thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Valchek looks to land a combination but Bled avoids it well. Bled blocks a head kick by Valchek.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Valchek tries to bum rush Bled with a series of wild strikes but Bled uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Valchek is looking to slow Bled down with leg kicks. Valchek fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Valchek misses with a leg kick. Bled closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bled is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Valchek is just riding it out for now. Bled eventually gives up the hold. Bled passes to side control. Valchek gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Valchek won't allow Bled to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valchek is not content to let Bled control the position. Bled wants to pass the guard but Valchek is defending well. Bled seems to be working for a kimura but Valchek defends the submission attempt. Valchek is looking to improve his position.
Bled looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bled is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Joe Valchek. I've got Valchek winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
