Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza gets tackled into the cage by Monzon. Monzon maintains the clinch.
Monzon stalling.
Souza tries to pull guard but Monzon won't allow it.
Monzon manages to break the clinch.
Monzon forces Souza back against the cage and clinches.
Souza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Monzon walks away with a smile on his face. Souza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Souza takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Thiago Souza has been cut.
Monzon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Souza, pushing him back against the cage.
Souza wants a takedown but no success here.
Carlos Monzon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Souza.
Souza fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Monzon gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Souza regains guard.
Souza looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Monzon is defending well. Souza quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Monzon has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Souza celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
