The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sochan connects with a single shot there.
Overeem with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sochan counters with a three punch combo that has Overeem backing up. Overeem nods at Sochan to acknowledge the strikes.
Overeem misses with a takedown attempt
and Sochan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sochan throws a series of punches but Overeem moves out of range.
Overeem has his takedown stuffed
and Sochan counters with a nice right hand that sends Overeem toppling to the canvas! Overeem scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sochan finish him?!
Overeem is rocked!
Krzysztof Sochan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rogerio Overeem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sochan lands a big right hook! Overeem looks hurt but is still standing! Sochan lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Overeem falls down and Sochan dives in with a huge hammer fist! Overeem's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Sochan runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
