Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Bolten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joey Bolten was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Greywar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Joey Bolten! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bolten checks a leg kick. Bolten tries to keep at a distance but Greywar has taken the fight into the clinch. Greywar presses Bolten against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Greywar throws a punch but it's blocked by Bolten. Greywar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bolten jumps into guard, dragging Greywar to the mat.
Greywar preventing the sweep. Greywar with a flurry of punches that miss. Greywar won't allow Bolten to sweep him here. Greywar working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bolten keeping moving, preventing Greywar from controlling successfully. Greywar throwing strikes but missing. Greywar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greywar throwing strikes but missing. Greywar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bolten's head. Bolten is looking to stand up but Greywar isn't so interested in that idea. Greywar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Greywar throws a strike but Bolten rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bolten stands up from Greywar's guard - Bolten perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolten takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mike Greywar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bolten misses with a kick to the body.
Bolten misses with a leg kick. Greywar throws a sloppy head kick and Bolten moves out of range easily. Greywar gets a clinch. Greywar cracks Bolten with a nice body shot. Greywar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bolten backwards. Bolten fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bolten escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Greywar throws a head kick that Bolten semi-blocks.
Bolten bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Bolten slips under a jab from Greywar. Greywar gets a clinch. Greywar throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bolten blocks it with crossed arms. Greywar is working Bolten over against the cage. Greywar softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Bolten landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Greywar misses with a knee strike.
Bolten is trying to break the clinch but Greywar is controlling him. Greywar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bolten's elbow. Greywar putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bolten in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bolten decides to pull guard. Greywar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Greywar looking to sit in guard and control but Bolten gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bolten tries to stand but Greywar is controlling from the bottom. Greywar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bolten would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Greywar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bolten forces his way into half guard. Bolten is thwarting Greywar's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bolten in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Greywar tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bolten!
