Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Throwed Mexican (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Throwed Mexican ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doug Couture! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mexican wants to clinch but Couture slips to the side and Couture counters with a head kick. That will keep Mexican thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Mexican gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Couture counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mexican doesn't succeed with the takedown and Couture counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mexican tries to clinch up and Couture moves into the clinch. Mexican slowing the pace effectively. Mexican manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Couture stops Mexican from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Mexican keeping moving, preventing Couture from controlling successfully. Couture slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Couture trying to control but Mexican is working from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Doug Couture hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mexican shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Couture counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mexican 's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Throwed Mexican . That's going to take a lot out of him. Mexican is breathing heavily. Couture trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Couture is pushing down on Mexican 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mexican is fighting to maintain full guard but Couture has managed to sneak the leg through. Couture content to control rather than advance. Couture missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Couture looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Couture is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Couture sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mexican 's guard. Mexican looks like he's trying to stand up.
Couture should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Couture sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mexican defending well though. Couture performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Couture is trying to control the action in half guard but Mexican is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Doug Couture has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mexican takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Couture throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mexican . Couture takes the fight into the clinch. Couture tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Couture has Mexican pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mexican manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Couture tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Mexican goes for a takedown attempt but Couture pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Couture gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mexican trying to stall but Couture improves his position.
Couture pulls guard effortlessly. Mexican postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mexican wanted to stand there but Couture had control of the position. Couture controls Mexican momentarily but Mexican frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Couture dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Couture darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mexican is trying to stand back up but Couture is controlling him
Mexican scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Couture manages to mount him!
Couture looking to control but Mexican is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Couture breaks from Mexican 's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Couture working away from the top, dropping strikes. Couture has control of Mexican 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mexican regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Couture is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mexican can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mexican has given up his back here. Will Couture look for the submission or keep pounding away?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Couture punishes Mexican with strikes from the back mount. Mexican is trying to get back to his feet but Couture has full control of the position and if anything, Mexican has just worked his way into a worse spot. Mexican grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Couture just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Mexican is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Couture gets his way!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mexican is trying to shake Couture off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Couture won't be happy about giving up the dominant position. Mexican darts in trying to clinch and Couture counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Couture keeps control of Mexican as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mexican swings away with an uppercut that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Couture showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Couture fails with the takedown. Mexican misses with a looping right. Mexican stuffs the takedown attempt from Couture. Couture gets slowly back to his feet. Mexican gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Couture decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mexican 's guard. Couture prevents Mexican from getting back to his feet. Couture stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mexican swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mexican keeping moving, preventing Couture from controlling successfully. Couture working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mexican wants to stand and escape but Couture is having none of it. Couture advances position into side control! Mexican is letting Couture control him for a moment. Mexican tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Couture has his arm under Mexican 's chin here. Game over son! Couture squeezes tightly and Mexican is forced to tap out!
