Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny The Irishman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Hurrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kieran Hurrell!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hurrell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Irishman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The Irishman tries to escape but Hurrell is in control.
The Irishman manages to get back to half guard.
The Irishman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The Irishman is holding on to half guard well.
Hurrell prevents The Irishman from standing back up.
Hurrell uses his free foot to push down on The Irishman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for The Irishman.

Hurrell goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Irishman is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hurrell controls The Irishman momentarily but The Irishman frees himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hurrell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Irishman uses from the top position.

The Irishman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hurrell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The Irishman, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hurrell closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. The Irishman quickly recovers to half guard.

Kieran Hurrell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hurrell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
