Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Mungo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mungo throws a combination that misses
and Carter counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mungo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A slow jab from Mungo misses its intended target.
Carter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mungo.
Mungo avoids the head kick by Carter.
Mungo misses with a left hand
and Mungo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mungo counters with a straight right hand.
Mungo scores with a jab.
Mungo swings widly with a right hand
and Carter counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mungo misses with a lunging right hand
letting Carter counter with a right hand.
A big left from Mungo misses.
The crowd cheers as Mungo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carter doesn't seem phased though.
Mungo clobbers Carter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mungo swings widly with a right hand
and Carter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mungo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Carter counters with a two punch combo.
Greg Mungo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mungo cracks Carter with a right hand to the side of the head.
Carter is rocked!
Carter gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Mungo points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Carter wakes up just in time to hear Mungo thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
