Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabe Holter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ohad Everett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everett is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dont Monkey With Another Mans Monkey. The key to victory for Gabe Holter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabe Holter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ohad Everett! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Everett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Holter. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Holter, right into the meat.
Everett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Everett takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Everett gets off balance looking for a body kick and Holter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Everett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holter tries to avoid it but Everett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holter to the ground. Holter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Holter tries to sprawl but Everett drives through with a takedown into half guard. Everett controlling the action here. Holter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Holter tries to get out of the position. Everett seems to be looking for submissions.
Everett is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Everett wants to free his trapped foot but Holter is holding on for dear life with his legs. Everett trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ohad Everett hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Everett throws a left and a right that both miss
and Holter finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Everett gets tackled into the cage by Holter. Holter maintains the clinch. Holter breaks from the clinch.
Everett fails to land the takedown. Gabe Holter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ohad Everett. Holter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Everett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Everett looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holter is fending him off so far but Everett persists. Nope, Holter circles away and we're back to standing. Everett misses with a right hand and Holter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Holter. Holter breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Everett. Everett looks gassed! Holter tries to clinch but Everett is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Everett shoots in and drives through. Holter sprawls well. A jab from Holter finds it's way through Everett's defenses. Everett takes one to the side of the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Everett shoots in for a takedown but Holter shows good takedown defense. Holter rushes Everett and presses him up against the cage. Everett stalling in the clinch but Holter improves position. Everett jumps guard but Holter stands there with Everett around his waist. Everett gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holter breaks from the clinch.
Holter lands a jab to the head.
Holter scores with a one two! Everett had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Ohad Everett has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Holter lands a jab. Holter closes the distance and pushes Everett back into the cage. Holter lands an elbow inside that Everett shrugs off. Everett swings wildly with an uppercut but Holter uses good head movement to avoid it. Holter lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Holter breaks from the clinch.
Everett swats away the attempt to clinch by Holter. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. An inside leg kick lands from Holter. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Everett. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabe Holter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ohad Everett's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Holter moves in looking to clinch but Everett pushes him off. A slapping leg kick lands for Holter.
Everett takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A nice leg kick lands there from Holter. Holter scores with a decent looking hook. Everett takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Everett misses with a takedown attempt - Holter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Holter.
Everett is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holter moves into the clinch. Everett is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Holter is defending well for now. Holter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Holter lands a jab-cross combination. Holter drives through and clinches with Everett against the cage.
Everett swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Holter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gabe Holter is winning the standup battle so far. Holter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Holter lands a head kick. Everett smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Everett sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Holter leaves Everett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holter moves in looking to clinch but Everett pushes him off. Holter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Everett on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Holter. Holter obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Holter scores with a hook. Holter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Everett. That did some damage! Holter tries to close the distance and clinch but Everett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Holter throws a nice outside leg kick. Everett throws a right hand that misses
and Holter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Holter connects with a high kick.
Everett is rocked!
That has opened up Ohad Everett's cut even more. Holter gets in close and instigates a clinch. Everett is still on wobbly legs! Can Holter finish him? Holter lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Holter breaks the clinch.
BOOM! Holter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Everett. Everett tries to recover but Holter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Everett lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabe Holter!
