The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabiano throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sackett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fabiano as he avoids it easily.
Fabiano throws a head kick but Sackett moves out of range.
Sackett gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sackett avoids a wild elbow strike from Fabiano.

A head kick from Sackett lands but Fabiano takes it in his stride.

Fabiano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sackett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fabiano wants to get back to his feet but Sackett is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Sackett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sackett forces his way into half guard.
Fabiano tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sackett manages to move to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
