Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Collins!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins misses with a double jab
and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Collins is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garcia is looking for a triangle but Collins pushes his legs off easily.

Garcia is working an open guard so Collins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Garcia chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Collins can pounce on him.

Collins's corner calls for a 1-2. Collins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Collins is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Collins connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garcia. Garcia circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A punch lands to the side of Garcia 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Collins lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Garcia is rocked!

Oh Garcia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Collins is looking to slow Garcia down with leg kicks.
Garcia seems to have got his legs back now.
Garcia needs to keep his hands up - Collins had a free shot at his head there.
Garcia tries to move into range but Collins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Collins lands a high kick!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Collins.
Garcia is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt
and Collins counters with a head kick that drops Garcia to the mat! Garcia scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Collins is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Garcia flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Garcia is out cold! Collins holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
