Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dis Styxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Bertane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styxx comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg: Gin & Juice. Bertane has chosen Dark Tranquillity - Her Silent Language as his entrance music. Dis Styxx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styxx connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Styxx fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bertane.
Styxx dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bertane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Styxx.
Nice jab there from Styxx.
Bertane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bertane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Styxx.
Dis Styxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Styxx does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bertane shoots for a double leg takedown but Styxx sprawls well. He's pushed Bertane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Styxx feints and then cracks Bertane's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bertane down.

Bertane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Styxx can pounce on him.

Bertane is rocked!
Styxx steps in with a hook that catches Bertane right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Styxx follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bertane looks absolutely devastated.
