Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Vallely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joseph's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, TEARS FOR FEARS - SHOUT. Vallely has chosen CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, William Joseph!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Vallely!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallely lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vallely lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joseph circles away quickly and effectively.
Joseph walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vallely checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
No joy there for Vallely, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Joseph tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vallely sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Joseph somewhat.

Vallely throws a sloppy head kick and Joseph moves out of range easily.
Joseph shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vallely defends it nicely.
Joseph throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joseph has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vallely can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vallely escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vallely throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Joseph stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vallely clobbers Joseph with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Vallely moves out of range of the strikes.
Vallely uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Joseph.
Joseph throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vallely's waist but Vallely gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joseph off to one side.

Vallely might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Joseph dives in and grabs Vallely's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vallely pushes down on Joseph's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Joseph looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Joseph shoots in for a takedown but Vallely shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vallely on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Joseph feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
