Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gesias Calvancante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isac Chaves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calvancante comes to the cage accompanied by Fight Music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvancante drops his hands momentarily and Chaves takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Chaves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Calvancante tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chaves sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Calvancante somewhat.
Calvancante shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chaves as he avoids it easily.

Calvancante takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chaves shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Calvancante eats them both and turns towards Chaves to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Oh Calvancante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Isac Chaves is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chaves connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Calvancante tumbling to the canvas! Chaves pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Calvancante was done - good stoppage!
