The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Plessis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A combination from Valajakkara does no damage.
Du Plessis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valajakkara as he jumps to the side.
Du Plessis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Valajakkara.
Valajakkara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Du Plessis looks to throw the jab but Valajakkara is out of range.

Oh Valajakkara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Du Plessis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Valajakkara pulls his leg out and moves away.
Du Plessis lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Valajakkara falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
