Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Hess! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Hess misses its intended target. Hess is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jon Hess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hess tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hess avoids it really well and circles away. Hess connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters circling - Hess throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hess throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. Hess jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hess just misses with a punch to the body.
Jon Hess is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lee staying out of range there. Nice defenses there by Lee. Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee slips a jab from Hess. Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hess avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hess throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hess drives through and clinches with Lee against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee can't get the takedown.
Hess is struggling to control the position. A short uppercut from Hess. Lee has Hess pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hess manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hess is working Lee over against the cage. Hess pushes off an throws an elbow but Lee leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Lee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hess fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lee is breathing heavily. Hess misses with a looping left. Hess misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely. Nice cross by Hess. Hess fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hess closes the distance and clinches. Hess gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hess gets underhooks to prevent Lee's takedown attempt.
Lee is working for takedown but Hess is calmly controlling the position for now. Lee looking for a takedown. Still in the clinch, Hess scores with a nice short uppercut. Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hess prevents it.
Hess makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A right handed body shot lands from Hess.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hess lands an uppercut. A right handed body shot lands from Hess.
Hess lands a nice uppercut. Hess lands a body punch in the clinch. Hess lands a body punch in the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hess stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hess lands a hook that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Hess works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Hess dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hess works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lee tries for a takedown but Hess circles away easily and Hess counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hess is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Hess is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hess tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hess misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to score a body lock takedown but Hess shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hess lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jon Hess seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Hess lands a body shot in the clinch.

Lee is rocked! Hess presses Lee against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hess will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lee up against the cage. Lee tries for a takedown but Hess manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. A right hand to the body from Hess.
Hess scores with a nice hook to the head. Hess creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lee's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lee drops to his knees and Hess pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
