Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladik Fedotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge VonQulik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge VonQulik has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedotov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fedotov blocks a jab.
Fedotov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from VonQulik.

and VonQulik counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
VonQulik thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fedotov's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

VonQulik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fedotov is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute VonQulik jumps into side control!

VonQulik is looking for a kimura but Fedotov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for VonQulik to get the leverage.

VonQulik is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fedotov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time VonQulik.
VonQulik seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
VonQulik has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
VonQulik won't let Fedotov get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

VonQulik goes for an armbar but Fedotov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fedotov.

VonQulik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fedotov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fedotov is trying to control. VonQulik wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

VonQulik is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fedotov pulls his head out easily.

Fedotov decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
VonQulik shoots in for a takedown but Fedotov shows good takedown defense.

A frustrated look appears on VonQulik's face as he tries to break the clinch.
