Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Neil NaLeans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Deadmau5 - Some Chords as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil NaLeans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! NaLeans throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily. Gracie throws a poor cross that misses
and NaLeans counters with a flying knee. Nice. Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps NaLeans's head backwards. Gracie throws an ugly left hook that misses
and NaLeans counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Julio Gracie has been cut. Gracie misses with a right hand and NaLeans counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie throws a right hand that misses
letting NaLeans counter with a right hand. NaLeans lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. NaLeans uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Gracie tries to keep at a distance but NaLeans has taken the fight into the clinch. Gracie tries to land a knee to the head but NaLeans blocks with his arms.

That's two minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Gracie just misses with a elbow thrown towards NaLeans's brow. A short body shot lands from NaLeans as the two fighters clinch.

Gracie looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! NaLeans with a knee to the head.

NaLeans has picked Gracie up - he's going for a ride! NaLeans dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. NaLeans trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well. NaLeans slips a nice elbow through Gracie's hands, connecting with Gracie's forehead. NaLeans works his foot free and advances to mount. NaLeans looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Gracie pushes down on NaLeans's leg and manages to get into half guard. NaLeans keeping control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. NaLeans knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but NaLeans sees it coming and defends easily. NaLeans moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gracieis looking to pass into half guard but NaLeans pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now NaLeans is in guard. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. NaLeans stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gracie is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. NaLeans is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gracie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. NaLeans scores with a couple of short elbows. Gracie is trying to improve his position. NaLeans landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. NaLeans wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gracie, who protects the arm well. NaLeans cracks Gracie with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Neil NaLeans dominated that round. The cut man is working on Julio Gracie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gracie connects with a single shot there. NaLeans drives through with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. NaLeans is working Gracie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Gracie wants to improve his position but instead NaLeans has moved into half guard.
Gracie is staying active underneath NaLeans, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie. Gracie keeping moving, preventing NaLeans from controlling successfully. Gracie working for submissions but it's allowed NaLeans to get to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gracie has his foot on NaLeans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. NaLeans works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie working for a triangle but NaLeans defends it easily.

NaLeans passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. NaLeans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gracie is staying active underneath NaLeans, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gracie has hold of NaLeans's hands but NaLeans slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gracie is looking for a sweep. NaLeans is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. NaLeans is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gracie can't escape the position.
NaLeans fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie working to try and regain half guard.
NaLeans postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gracie looks a forlorn figure.
Gracie is looking to improve his position but NaLeans isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.
A nice elbow there by NaLeans.
That has opened up Julio Gracie's cut even more. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. NaLeans raining down shots from the mount!
The cut above Julio Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Julio Gracie's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
