Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Subz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bonifacio Martial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Subz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Speak - Stop The War. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martial throws a body punch but Subz moves out of range.

Martial stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Martial wants it to stay on the feet.

Subz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martial's waist but Martial gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Subz off to one side.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Subz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Subz lands in his opponent's guard.

Subz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Martial counters with a nice kick to the body.
Martial throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
