Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiko Mizuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Napper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Napper has chosen Cross That Line - Rick Ross as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Napper shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Danny Napper was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mizuki doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Napper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mizuki won't be happy with that.

Napper has hold of Mizuki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mizuki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Napper cranks the arm and Mizuki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mizuki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Danny Napper!
