Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lak Risal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Belt!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Risal rushes Belt and presses him up against the cage.
Risal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Risal throws a leg kick but Belt sees it coming and moves out of range.
Risal throws a nice inside leg kick.
Belt shoots for a double leg takedown but Risal sprawls well. He's pushed Belt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Belt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Risal's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Risal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belt on the ground.
Belt looks gassed!
Belt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Risal manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Belt has Risal in his guard.
Risal controlling from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Risal gets to his feet. Belt looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Risal shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Belt takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Risal sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Belt bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lak Risal!
