PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mini Clubman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wea Ponry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wea Ponry told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponry avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ponry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clubman looks to land a combination but Ponry avoids it well.
A left and a right from Clubman both land. Nice combination.
Clubman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ponry. That one must have hurt.
Clubman has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ponry.
Clubman is breathing heavily.
Clubman moves out of range of the body kick from Ponry.
Ponry goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Mini Clubman has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clubman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ponry.
Clubman throws a right and a left that Ponry avoids nicely.

Ponry lands a big head kick that sends Clubman tumbling to the mat! Ponry takes a step backwards and waves Clubman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Clubman is rocked!
Clubman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ponry throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Whack! Ponry lands a heavy head kick that drops Clubman. The ref tackles Ponry to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Clubman was done.
