Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knut Beissner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Greg Page was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beissner tries to avoid it but Page manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beissner to the ground. Beissner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beissner throws a sloppy head kick and Page moves out of range easily.
Page shoots in and drives through. Beissner sprawls well.
Page misses with a takedown attempt - Beissner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Beissner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Page moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A head kick from Beissner lands but Page takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beissner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Beissner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Page displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beissner.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beissner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Page trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Beissner manages to pass to mount!

Beissner is landing with some decent strikes but Page is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Beissner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
