The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walden throws a series of strikes that have Koivisto backpedaling.
It looks like Ilkka Koivisto has been cut.
Walden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Koivisto throws a lazy uppercut
and Walden counters with a left and a right that stings Koivisto.
Koivisto throws a jab when Walden was well out of range.
Good shot there by Walden.
Koivisto swings widly with a right hand
and Walden counters with a left to the body.
Walden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walden moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Walden avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walden lands with a kick to the ribs.
Koivisto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Walden lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koivisto throws an off balance right hand
and Walden counters with a three punch combo that has Koivisto backing up. Koivisto nods at Walden to acknowledge the strikes.
Walden lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Walden scores with a decent looking hook.
Walden is working the combinations to good effect here.
Koivisto shoots in and bounces Walden off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Koivisto wants to control from the top but Walden keeps moving.
Koivisto wants to pass the guard but Walden is keeping the position.
Koivisto thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walden is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Koivisto rolls with it to try and escape but Walden cranks on the arm and Koivisto is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
