Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiko Boll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Marks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tiko Boll! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackson Marks ! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marks has closed the distance and engaged Boll in a clinch.
Marks pulls guard effortlessly. Marks has control of Boll's left arm, preventing Boll from doing any damage. Boll throws a big right hand that misses. Boll has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boll won't allow Marks to sweep him here. Marks keeping full guard, as Boll tries to pass. Marks has his hands on Boll's head, controlling the position. Marks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boll is one step ahead there. Boll tries to free his leg and advance position but Marks is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks keeping moving, preventing Boll from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Tiko Boll has been cut. A combination from Marks does no damage. Boll fails with the takedown and Marks counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Marks . Marks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Marks passes into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Marks trying to mount his opponent but Boll defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boll's head. Marks stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boll is looking for a sweep. Marks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jackson Marks has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Marks closes the distance and clinches. Marks gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boll.
Marks 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Boll with a poor takedown and Marks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boll won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiko Boll. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marks lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boll regains half guard. Marks tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boll knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boll tries to sprawl but Marks drives through with a takedown into half guard. Boll actively working from the bottom here. Boll wants to control but Marks is keeping busy and won't allow it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marks connects with a nice short shot to Boll's temple. Marks decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Boll doesn't succeed with the takedown and Marks counters with a nice double leg into guard. Marks stays in close to Boll's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jackson Marks . Marks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boll counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Boll pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marks is keeping the position for now. Marks manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Boll's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Marks raining down shots from the mount! Marks goes for an armbar but Boll turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Boll. Boll stopping the sweep attempt from Marks . The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marks looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boll shoots and misses and Marks decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boll's guard. Boll is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Marks controlling from the top position. Marks postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Marks sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boll's guard. Marks perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boll trying to hold on to Marks 's head to control him but Marks postures up.

Boll wants to get back to full guard but Marks has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Marks looking to control and managing it successfully. Boll is desperately trying to improve his position but Marks has a good base and remains in mount. Marks lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Marks looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Marks goes for an armbar but Boll turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Boll. Boll throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Marks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
