Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jenson Crowder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slater Lowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jenson Crowder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slater Lowman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lowman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Crowder scores with a takedown into Lowman's guard. Lowman is pulling down on Crowder's head. It's preventing any offense from Crowder, at least for the moment. Crowder looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lowman pulls Crowder in close to prevent any damage. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Slater Lowman wasn't active enough on the ground. Crowder shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crowder is figuring out what he wants to do next. Lowman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Crowder stalling. Crowder wants to work for an arm triangle but Lowman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lowman tries to kick Crowder off but Crowder keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Crowder is keen to just control but Lowman is a slippery customer. Lowman pushes Crowder off looking to stand but Crowder dives back in and keeps control.
Crowder looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Crowder is thwarting Lowman's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crowder with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. The fighters circling - Lowman throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Crowder misses with a takedown attempt and Lowman counters with a thumping low kick. Crowder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lowman pinned against the cage. Lowman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jenson Crowder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lowman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Crowder or perhaps it was just good defense by Lowman which made him look bad. Lowman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Crowder's hands.
It looks like Jenson Crowder has been cut. Crowder has his takedown stuffed and Lowman counters with a straight that turns Crowder's legs to rubber! Lowman pushes forward with more strikes and Crowder goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slater Lowman!
