Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Kravvikowskii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Kravvikowskii!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Kravvikowskii counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kravvikowskii.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kravvikowskii throws a strike but Boxer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kravvikowskii fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boxer sprawls well initially but Kravvikowskii persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boxer is refusing to be controlled, as Kravvikowskii sits in half guard.

Kravvikowskii misses with a head shot. Boxer uses the momentum to regain guard.
Boxer wants to stand up but Kravvikowskii is controlling him.
Kravvikowskii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boxer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kravvikowskii can do anything to dispel that myth.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johnny Kravvikowskii wasn't active enough on the ground.

Kravvikowskii is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boxer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boxer!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Kravvikowskii counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kravvikowskii is looking to break free of the clinch but Boxer has double underhooks.

Boxer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johnny Kravvikowskii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kravvikowskii shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boxer pinned against the cage. Boxer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Kravvikowskii counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Boxer looks to land a left hand but Kravvikowskii moved out of range nicely.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Kravvikowskii.
I've got Kravvikowskii winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
