Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonzarino gets caught napping as Rotten dives in and scores a takedown. Bonzarino manages to retain guard.
Bonzarino wants to get back to his feet but Rotten is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rotten slips nicely into half guard.
Rotten seems to be working for a kimura but Bonzarino defends the submission attempt.
Rotten stops Bonzarino from getting back to his feet.
Rotten takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rotten is looking for a kimura but Bonzarino is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rotten to get the leverage.
Rotten controlling the action here.
Rotten throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bonzarino pushes Rotten off looking to stand but Rotten dives back in and keeps control.
Bonzarino trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Rotten slows the pace down in half guard.
Rotten thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bonzarino's head.

Bonzarino is looking to escape.
Bonzarino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rotten is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bonzarino has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bonzarino manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Johnny Rotten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonzarino jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rotten shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonzarino as he jumps to the side.
Rotten closes the distance and clinches.
Rotten fails to pull guard.
Rotten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rotten throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bonzarino's waist but Bonzarino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rotten off to one side.
Jimmy Bonzarino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Rotten.
Rotten fails with a takedown attempt.
Bonzarino lands a jab-cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bonzarino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rotten eats them both and turns towards Bonzarino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bonzarino scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bonzarino catches Rotten with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Jimmy Bonzarino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bonzarino lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rotten is looking to close the distance but Bonzarino sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rotten crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rotten is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
