The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tapisht misses with a takedown
and Tapisht takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mera tries to clinch up but Tapisht circles away and keeps his distance.
Mera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mera postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tapisht looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Tapisht is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mera connects with a bit shot that sees Tapisht covering up! More strikes from Mera and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mera is our winner by TKO!
