Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maxence Laurentian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingo has chosen Carl Orff - O Fortuna as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxence Laurentian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurentian lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dingo will feel that in the morning.
Dingo moves out of range of the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Dingo. Those never looked like landing.
Dingo shoots for a double leg takedown but Laurentian sprawls well. He's pushed Dingo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laurentian darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Laurentian scores with a hook to the body. Dingo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dingo throws a big shot that misses.
Laurentian throws a jab but it's blocked by Dingo.

Dingo tries to clinch up but Laurentian circles away and keeps his distance.

Dingo has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Laurentian.

Dingo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Laurentian finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Laurentian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dingo was well out of range. Poor timing from Laurentian.
Dingo moves out of range as Laurentian throws a body kick.

Dingo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Laurentian's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Laurentian tries to roll over but Dingo keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dingo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Laurentian is just riding it out for now. Dingo eventually gives up the hold.
Laurentian is looking to control Dingo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Laurentian avoid being mounted?

Laurentian is looking for a sweep. Dingo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Laurentian works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dingois looking to pass into half guard but Laurentian pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Laurentian is in guard.
Laurentian slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Dingo looking for a triangle here. Laurentian is fighting it but it looks tight! Dingo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Laurentian is tapping out - this one is all over!
