Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lou Reed - Perfect Day. The crowd seem to be enjoying Stotch's choice of entrance music: What what, in the butt.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leopold Stotch!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stotch clinches up against the cage.
Stotch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
Stotch blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Stotch wants to get back to striking at distance but King won't allow it.
Stotch tries a body shot but King blocks it.
King creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Stotch's defenses.

It looks like Leopold Stotch has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by King.
King lands an elbow that stopped Stotch in his tracks for a moment.
Stotch goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
King lands an elbow just above Stotch 's eye.

That has opened up Leopold Stotch's cut even more.
Stotch is trying to break the clinch but King is controlling him.

Stotch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stotch takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stotch shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
King scores with a sloppy right hand. Stotch should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stotch fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King.
King has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stotch.
King feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stotch's calf.

Stotch tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stotch tried to score with a low kick but King checks it.
King throws a leg kick but Stotch sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stotch misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely.
Stotch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before King can pounce on him.

King shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stotch's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
King with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

King wants to control but Stotch is keeping him busy.
King is really struggling to control Stotch but he's trying to hold on to the position.

King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

King just content to control the position.
King lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stotch down.

King looks up at the clock and then as Stotch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Stotch tries to bench press King off him but King keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Stotch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

King misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stotch is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

King is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stotch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stotch takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.

King closes the distance and clinches up with Stotch, looking for a takedown. King pushes Stotch against the cage but Stotch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stotch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Stotch.
Stotch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stotch throws a leg kick but King moved away.
King attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
King takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Stotch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stotch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stotch. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
King smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
King takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Stotch takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.
King misses with a low kick.
That kick from Stotch tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on.

Stotch throws out a powerful jab.
Stotch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stotch misses with a straight right.
Donk. Stotch catches King right on the button with a cross.
Leopold Stotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stotch throws a front kick aimed at King's knee but King avoids it well.
King missing with a left hand there. Stotch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stotch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. King looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

King tries to land a leg kick but Stotch saw it coming and moves away.

King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

King shoots for a takedown but Stotch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
King ducks under a wild hook from Stotch.
King tries to move into range but Stotch moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

King closes the distance and pushes Stotch back into the cage.

King is trying to control. Stotch wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King drops back looking for a leg! Stotch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stotch manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Stotch's guard.

Levi King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
King tries to score with some ground and pound. Stotch controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Levi King will probably get the nod.

King digs a right hand underneath Stotch's ribcage. Stotch let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Leopold Stotch's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
