The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ismail closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. Ismail pushes Gracie against the cage but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ismail stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Gracie follows into mount!
Ismail is rocked!
It looks like Wallid Ismail has been cut.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ismail blocking the ground and pound.
Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Ismail is having none of it.
Ismail tries to improve his position but Gracie has taken his back! Gracie has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ismail tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gracie pushes Ismail away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
