Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Stinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Davis!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Stinger wants to break free but Davis has control.

Stinger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stinger rushes Davis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Davis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Stinger's face.

Davis on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stinger avoids the elbow strike from Davis, against the cage.

Davis keeps control of Stinger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Stinger wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davis has him pressed against the cage.

Stinger tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.
Stinger tries to break the clinch but Davis is controlling the position.
A short uppercut from Davis.
Davis is pushing Stinger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Davis is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Davis lands a good knee to the midsection. Stinger won't want to take too many of those.
Stinger is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stinger with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stinger jumps guard but Davis stands there with Stinger around his waist. Stinger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Davis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stinger's efforts to push away.
Davis lands an elbow that stopped Stinger in his tracks for a moment.
Davis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Davis utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Davis pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Davis has Stinger pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Stinger is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Davis - that's hurt Stinger badly! Oh, another knee lands and Stinger is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Stinger doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Randy Davis!
