Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Vongkhamchanh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vongkhamchanh comes into the arena with EIGHTY4 FLY "LIKE PLANES" blaring out of the sound system. Guerra is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Feeling This - Blink 182. Tommy Vongkhamchanh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Vongkhamchanh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Guerra! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vongkhamchanh swats away the attempt to clinch by Guerra. Guerra shoots in for a takedown but Vongkhamchanh shows good takedown defense. Vongkhamchanh slaps away a takedown attempt from Guerra, before circling back to the center of the mat. Guerra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vongkhamchanh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guerra somewhat. Tommy Vongkhamchanh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Guerra. Guerra shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Guerra chips away with some ground and pound. Guerra content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Guerra throwing strikes from guard but Vongkhamchanh blocks nicely. Guerra is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vongkhamchanh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vongkhamchanh has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vongkhamchanh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vongkhamchanh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Guerra is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vongkhamchanh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Guerra preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Guerra looking for a guillotine here but Vongkhamchanh defends easily.
Guerra is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vongkhamchanh defends well. Guerra is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guerra looks gassed! Guerra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vongkhamchanh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vongkhamchanh has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Guerra to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vongkhamchanh is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Guerra pulls down on the head and he's put Vongkhamchanh to sleep! This one is all over!
