Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyuzo Mifune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caine Paine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caine Paine will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyuzo Mifune! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caine Paine! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mifune drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mifune shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mifune decides to stand up. Paine gets the takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mifune tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Mifune controlling his opponent's hands, preventing the submission attempt. Mifune might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mifune trying to control the hands but Paine breaks the grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mifune is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Paine is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mifune tries to roll but Paine sticks to his back.
Can Mifune hold on?! Paine is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Mifune is trying to remain composed but Paine is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Paine doesn't have the hooks in and Mifune manages to turn into his guard.
Paine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mifune tries to hold on but Paine pushes him away. Paine scores with a couple of good head shots there.
BOOM! Paine connects with a massive shot to the dome!
It looks like Kyuzo Mifune has been cut. Mifune is breathing heavily. The referee warns Mifune that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Paine looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Mifune tries to lock up and control but Paine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Paine. Mifune is desperately trying to improve his position but Paine has a good base and remains in mount. Paine is landing with some decent strikes but Mifune is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Paine is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mifune can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mifune tries to reverse the position but Paine maintains control. Paine unloading with bombs! Paine dominating with strikes here. Mifune is in a horrible position here. Paine smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Paine lands a nice shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Paine working Mifune over with strikes here. Paine in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Paine raining down hammerfists from mount. Mifune is looking to improve his position but Paine isn't that keen on the idea. Paine cracks Mifune with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paine scoring with strikes but Mifune is staying in there. Paine lands a big elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paine landing strikes, looking to finish! Mifune takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. A nice elbow there by Paine. Paine scoring with strikes but Mifune is staying in there. A big strike lands for Paine! That's really hurt Mifune and he's turned his back - Paine keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Paine jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caine Paine!
