Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Smierdzielowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Palioc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pawel Smierdzielowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Palioc! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palioc takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Smierdzielowski jabs at Palioc's body. Palioc takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smierdzielowski scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Daniel Palioc has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Palioc takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Palioc looks gassed! Smierdzielowski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Palioc's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Smierdzielowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smierdzielowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Smierdzielowski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smierdzielowski is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Smierdzielowski advances to half guard. Smierdzielowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Palioc with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Palioc wants to control but Smierdzielowski is keeping busy.

Smierdzielowski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smierdzielowski connects with a nice short shot to Palioc's temple.

Smierdzielowski is looking for a kimura but Palioc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Smierdzielowski to get the leverage. Smierdzielowski working over Palioc with some ground and pound. Palioc looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smierdzielowski is thwarting Palioc's attempts to control the position. Smierdzielowski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Smierdzielowski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Smierdzielowski misses with a head shot. Palioc uses the momentum to regain guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smierdzielowski drops back for a leg! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Smierdzielowski with a nice head shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pawel Smierdzielowski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Daniel Palioc's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Smierdzielowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Palioc eats them both and turns towards Smierdzielowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Danga de danga de dang - Smierdzielowski scores with a four punch combination! Smierdzielowski throws a right hand that Palioc ducks under and follows up with a left that Palioc also avoids with ease. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Smierdzielowski!
Smierdzielowski blocks a leg kick. Palioc tries to close the distance and clinch but Smierdzielowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Palioc on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pawel Smierdzielowski is winning the standup battle so far. Smierdzielowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Palioc avoids it really well and circles away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smierdzielowski pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Palioc back to the cage. Smierdzielowski follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Palioc is rocked!
That has opened up Daniel Palioc's cut even more. Palioc tries for a takedown but Smierdzielowski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Palioc is still on wobbly legs! Can Smierdzielowski finish him? Palioc walks straight into a right hand from Smierdzielowski - that's dropped him! Smierdzielowski jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Palioc from any more punishment! Palioc complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
