Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jabba Hutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lin has chosen Advance On v2 as his entrance music. Roger Lin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jabba Hutt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jabba Hutt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Lin!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hutt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hutt wants to get back to his feet but Lin drags him back down.
Hutt is looking to regain half guard here but Lin keeps moving and retains side control.
Hutt is trying to buck Lin off.
Lin is looking to take a break and control but Hutt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hutt is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lin misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hutt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lin asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Lin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Hutt parries the strikes from Lin easily there. Lin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hutt to escape.
Lin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hutt is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lin tries to score with some ground and pound. Hutt controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hutt tries to bench press Lin off him but Lin keeps the position.
Lin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hutt keeps working.
Lin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Hutt pushes Lin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lin looking to control but instead Hutt has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Hutt is trying to stand.

Lin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lin is trying to control. Hutt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Lin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hutt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hutt regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lin.
Lin advances position into side control!
Lin is trying to ground and pound but Hutt uses the momentary lack of control by Lin to regain half guard.
Hutt wants to get back to his feet.
Hutt avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lin.

Ground and pound from Lin.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lin wants to pass the guard but Hutt is defending well.
Lin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hutt kicks Lin off and gets back to his feet.

Hutt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lin to the ground. Hutt is now in Lin's guard.
Hutt advances to half guard.
Lin moves into full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hutt with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roger Lin dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Hutt.
Lin is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Lin wants to control but Hutt postures up.
Hutt misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Lin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hutt is working Lin over with some ground and pound from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hutt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lin tries to bench press Hutt off him but Hutt keeps the position.
Hutt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lin keeps working.
Hutt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hutt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lin, who protects the arm well.
Hutt wants to control but Lin is keeping him busy.

Hutt cracks Lin with a big elbow.
Hutt working the ground and pound.

Hutt tries for a kimura but Lin is defending well.
Hutt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lin keeps working.
Hutt throws a strike aimed at the side of Lin's head but Lin avoids it well.
Hutt tries to advance to mount but Lin denies him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hutt has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hutt yanks on the arm and Lin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hutt.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jabba Hutt!
