Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Standa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakamura Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen Kill Bill Theme song as his entrance music. Nakamura Torres will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Standa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Standa doesn't manage to clinch there - Torres circles away.
Torres throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Torres has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Standa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Torres.

Standa is stalling here. Torres is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Standa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Torres has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Standa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Torres stalks Standa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Standa's face. Standa staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A punch lands to the side of Standa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fight stays on the outside here - Standa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
