PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Cratos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cratos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Skindred - Pressure. Charlie Cratos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice stuffs the takedown attempt from Cratos. Cratos gets slowly back to his feet.
Slice stuffs the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Cratos or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Cratos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cratos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cratos is breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cratos takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Slice wants to sweep but no luck.
Slice wants to stand up but Cratos is controlling him.
Slice is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Slice tries to stand but can't do so whilst Cratos controls his leg.

Slice takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slice connects with a nice short shot to Cratos's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice wants to stand but Cratos has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Slice lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cratos is looking to improve his position.
Slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slice takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Cratos connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Cratos moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Slice won't allow Cratos to sweep him here.
Cratos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Slice's guard.
Cratos stands up over Slice, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Cratos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Cratos works over Slice with some ground and pound from guard.
Cratos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slice swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but Cratos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Slice doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cratos works over Slice with some ground and pound from guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Slice knocks Cratos out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
