Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glen Davis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vitor Belfort! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glen Davis! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots in for a takedown but Belfort shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Belfort sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Davis. Vitor Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Davis. Belfort leaves Davis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belfort sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat. Davis shoots in and drives through. Belfort sprawls well. Davis shoots in and gets a takedown into Belfort's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Belfort is looking to stand back up but Davis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Belfort. Belfort looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Davis lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Davis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Belfort is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well. Davis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Belfort could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Davis has cracked it and Belfort is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Davis!
