Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook has chosen Lifeless by 12 Stones as his entrance music. Dane Cook is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dirt at a distance.
Dirt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dirt takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Cook lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dirt is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cook's half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dirt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cook is trying to maintain the position but Dirt is very close to passing his half guard. Dirt seems to be looking for submissions.

Dirt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cook is just riding it out for now. Dirt eventually gives up the hold. Dirt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cook sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirt is thwarting Cook's attempts to control the position. Cook is looking for a sweep. Dirt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dirt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cook is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dirt is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cook is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
