Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tugg Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Monster. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speedman throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
An inside leg kick from Smith misses.
Nice uppercut there from Speedman.
Smith dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Speedman. That did some damage!
Speedman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smith takes a swing at Speedman's ribcage but misses.
Smith closes the distance and pushes Speedman back into the cage.
Speedman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smith gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Smith goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Smith lands a hook that snaps the head of Speedman backwards.
Smith misses with a punch to the body.
Speedman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Smith scores with a shoulder strike.
Speedman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Smith pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Speedman has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Speedman's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Speedman is looking to sinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Speedman's body to avoid the submission. Speedman has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Speedman arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
