Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Malone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dixon Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Malone avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Jackson throws a left that rocks Malone and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jackson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Malone regain composure!


Malone is rocked!
Jackson is working Malone over with some ground and pound from side control.
Oh Malone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Malone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson cracks Malone with a big right hand but Malone just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Malone tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson is working Malone over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jackson scores with a couple of short elbows.
Malone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Malone prevents Jackson from improving position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malone is not content to let Jackson control the position.
Malone seems to have got his legs back now.
Malone is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it.

Jackson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Malone's legs.
You can see the frustration on Malone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Malone keeps Jackson under control for a moment.
Jackson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Malone is looking for a sweep.
Jackson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Malone tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it.
Malone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Jackson is nestled in close to Malone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jackson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jackson is working Malone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Malone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Malone is breathing heavily.
Jackson lands a couple of elbows.
Jackson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Malone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there.
Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Malone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Malone wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Malone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Malone misses with a jab to the body

and Jackson counters with a left and a right that hurts Malone! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Jackson jumps into full mount!

Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Malone is looking to get to half guard.

Malone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jackson cracks Malone with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jackson controlling from mount.
Jackson trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Malone can't escape the position.
Malone tries to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.
Jackson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Malone bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Malone passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Malone is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dixon Jackson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Malone lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A punch combination from Malone misses.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Malone.
Jackson lands a nice hook to Malone's body. Malone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Malone ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson.
Jackson throws a hook but Malone blocks it.
Malone throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jackson tries to clinch up.
Malone scores with a spinning back kick!
Jackson throws a jab when Malone was well out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Oooh a lovely combination from Jackson sends Malone down but not out. Jackson dives into side control looking to finish.
Malone gets back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson working over Malone with some ground and pound. Malone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Jackson tries to pass to full mount but Malone defends it.
Jackson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Malone won't allow Jackson to pass to mount.

Jackson tries to stand but as he's on his way up, Malone locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - it looks tight! Malone rolls him over and extends the submission further. Jackson is forced to tap! He'll be kicking himself for that sloppy move but that was very slick from Malone!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bo Malone!
