Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nero Sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabu has chosen The Enemy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Witt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nero Sabu! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Witt moves into the clinch. Sabu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Witt lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Witt drops an elbow to the side of Sabu's head. Witt uses his free foot to push down on Sabu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sabu. Witt landing strikes from the mount and Sabu is in trouble! Witt scoring with strikes but Sabu is staying in there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Witt in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Witt working away from the top, dropping strikes. Witt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Witt looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Witt is trying to trip Sabu. He has hold of a leg but Sabu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Witt persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Witt content to stall in guard here. Witt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sabu can do to turn this around? Witt works over Sabu with some ground and pound from guard. Witt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Witt lands a couple of elbows. Sabu is breathing heavily. Witt engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Witt scoring with some ground and pound. Witt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Witt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sabu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Witt. Sabu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Witt lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Sabu is rocked! Witt quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Witt but it's paid off an Sabu is forced to tap! Nice work by Witt.
