Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cold Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Strom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strom has chosen I Need a Hero as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Cold Cat has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cold Cat seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cat gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Strom.
Cat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Strom misses the shot to the body.

Strom forces Cat back against the cage and clinches.
Strom working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Strom tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Strom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fighters circling - Strom throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Cat thuds his right hand into Strom's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cat throws a looping overhand right but Strom ducks down to avoid it.

Strom works Cat's body with a nice hook.
Strom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cat manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Strom counters with a nice uppercut.
Strom bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Strom scores with the left hand. Cat knows he should have avoided that one.

Cold Cat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strom avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Strom stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gunnar Strom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Strom circles away quickly and effectively.

Strom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Gunnar Strom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Strom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Strom scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cat doesn't seem bothered though.
Strom drops Cat with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Cat! Strom dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
