The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Master!
Cormier has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Master's face.
It looks like Ko Master has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cormier scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ko Master's cut is getting worse.
Cormier is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cormier postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Master looks a forlorn figure.
Jeez, Ko Master's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ko Master's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
