The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ramos takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ramos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ramos throws out a loose jab but Matrix uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ramos throws a leg kick which misses Matrix's front leg but catches the back leg as Matrix tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ramos tries to keep at a distance but Matrix has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ramos stops a takedown attempt from Matrix.
Matrix lands a nice uppercut.
Matrix doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ramos breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Ramos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matrix fails with an attempt to clinch.
Emilio Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matrix scores with a leg kick.
Ramos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ramos tests Matrix's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Matrix wants to clinch up but Ramos keeps it at a distance.

Matrix swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ramos misses with a straight right.
Matrix slips a jab from Ramos.
A looping hook to the body misses from Matrix. Ramos does a little dance to reset his feet.

Matrix throws a head kick but Ramos moves out of range.
Matrix thows a body shot but no joy.
Matrix looks for the body kick but Ramos saw that one coming.
Matrix takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ramos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Matrix at a distance.
Matrix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Matrix moves in looking to clinch but Ramos pushes him off.
Ramos is looking to score with low kicks.
Matrix on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ramos throws a nice looking combination but Matrix bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ramos cracks Matrix with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ramos.
Ramos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Matrix is out of range.
Ramos fakes the leg kick and cracks Matrix in the body.
Ramos lands a big head kick that sends Matrix tumbling to the mat! Ramos takes a step backwards and waves Matrix back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Matrix is rocked!
It looks like John Matrix has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ramos dances in with a quick combination. Matrix is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ramos snaps Matrix's head back. Matrix stumbles backwards against the cage. Ramos steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Matrix's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Matrix just didn't come prepared.
