Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Run this Town as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

S throws out a powerful jab.
S throws the kick towards the body but Carter avoids it.
S throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
S lands with a shot to the body.
S throws a head kick but Carter moves out of range.

S looks to land a left hand but Carter moved out of range nicely.

and Carter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

S fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
S thows a body kick. Carter tries to catch it but that hurt him.
S misses the jab.
Carter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Carter fails in his attempt to clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on S. That did some damage!

S throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.

and Carter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
S takes a kick to the side of the head.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

S has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
S does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ryu S seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

S chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Carter can pounce on him.

Carter scores with a head kick. S tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Carter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
S throws a hook but Carter blocks it.
Ryu S is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

S takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A nice leg kick lands there from Carter.
S tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
S circles away from the clinch attempt
and S counters with a thumping low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryu S will probably get the nod.

S throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

S stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Carter.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but S paws at him with a jab and circles away.
