Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Cavalera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drederick Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Cavalera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drederick Tatum! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cavalera circles away quickly and effectively. Tatum thows a body shot but no joy. Cavalera keeps the fight on the outside. Cavalera lands a body shot.
Tatum tries a head kick but it misses.
Tatum paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tatum has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cavalera finds it's way round the side to connect with Tatum's head. Cavalera checks a low kick from Tatum. Cavalera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tatum. Tatum throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tatum misses with an uppercut. Tatum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tatum misses the shot to the body. Tatum misses with a hook. Cavalera ducked under it nicely. Cavalera throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cavalera bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tatum is trying to get back to half guard. Cavalera throws an elbow but Tatum slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Cavalera. Cavalera working the ground and pound. Tatum tries to improve position but can't. Tatum sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Tatum trying to control but Cavalera postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalera wants to free his trapped foot but Tatum is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tatum is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Tatum moves into full guard.
Tatum looking for a sweep. Not yet Tatum, not yet. Cavalera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! Cavalera throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatum keeping full guard, as Cavalera tries to pass. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tatum holds on and takes a little breather. Tatum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cavalera's guard. Cavalera keeping moving, preventing Tatum from controlling successfully. Tatum must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cavalera keeping full guard, as Tatum tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cavalera is on top in guard.
Cavalera advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatum can't do much from the bottom here. Tatum is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cavalera off and has taken his back! Tatum is looking to control Cavalera but Cavalera is wriggling around and keeping busy. Cavalera manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tatum's guard. Nice work there by Cavalera.
Cavalera pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tatum is keeping the position for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tatum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tatum throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tatum is nestled in close to Cavalera, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drederick Tatum dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tatum takes the fight into the clinch. Cavalera will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tatum up against the cage. Cavalera misses with a short punch on the inside. Tatum can't find room to land a body shot as Cavalera controls the action.
Tatum tries to circle away but Cavalera has him pinned against the cage. Tatum manages to break the clinch.
Cavalera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tatum tries to keep at a distance but Cavalera has taken the fight into the clinch. Cavalera has clasped his hands together around Tatum's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Tatum gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cavalera seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cavalera is working away from the top position though. Cavalera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tatum doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cavalera. Cavalera not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tatum is controlling Cavalera's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalera throws a strike but Tatum avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Cavalera won't allow Tatum to sweep him here. Cavalera throws and elbow that misses. Tatum uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cavalera's guard. Nice move by Tatum! Cavalera tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tatum's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tatum thows a big elbow that misses. Tatum keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cavalera's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cavalera wants to hit a switch here but Tatum passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Cavalera there! Tatum prevents Cavalera from getting the reversal. Drederick Tatum has got the better of the ground game so far. Cavalera is bucking up trying to escape but Tatum cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Cavalera is looking to improve his position but Tatum isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatum landing strikes, looking to finish! Tatum working Cavalera over with strikes here.
Cavalera is rocked! Tatum looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Cavalera covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
