Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anderson Chief! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pounder clinches. Pounder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pounder moves into range and clinches up with Chief. Pounder lands a nice elbow. Chief is trying to drag Pounder to the mat but Pounder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pounder jumps into guard, dragging Chief to the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pounder is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chief drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pounder looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pounder looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pounder! Pounder is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chief will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pounder lands a few punches from side control. Chief is trying to get back to half guard. Chief seems a little lost for a moment, as Pounder dominates the positioning. Pounder stands up. Pounder has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice glancing elbow lands by Pounder. Pounder jumps into guard, dragging Chief to the mat.
Pounder striking off his back. Pounder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chief gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pounder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chief. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chief drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Chief as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Pounder screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Chief! Nice submission victory there!
